Alex is a writer with gambling debts who is threatened by his creditors if he does not deliver a manuscript within 30 days. He manages to enlist Emma as stenographer working on the novel.
A fairly silly basic story that alternates between reality and the events in the novel that Alex dictates. Events that of course connect to reality. The film, which was made in 2003, has also not stood the test of time very well.
