Samantha's boss wants her articles to be more self-experienced and when she learns that Samantha's family ranch will organize a prestigious horse show, in which Samantha's father will participate, she is tasked to go home and write a report about it. What Samantha doesn't know is that her father has hired her ex-husband, Luke, as a trainer for the competition. Now she is confronted partly by her defunct horse jumping career and unresolved conflicts with her ex-husband.
Why on earth would Samantha ever take back such a hopeless man as Luke?
