Vickie and Max meet on a platform in New York and strike up a conversation. However, they part ways when the train arrives, unable to exchange contact information despite finding each other intriguing. Five years later, Vickie arrives on a Caribbean island where she is set to get married. Her fiancé, James, has hired Max to photograph the wedding and all the preparations. James himself is stuck at work back home in Duluth. Max and Vickie recognize each other but can't quite place where they've met. Max is attentive and becomes a great support to Vickie and her friends during the preparations. What happens when they realize where they’ve seen each other before? And what happens when James arrives?
The movie doesn't quite hold up until the end. It can be somewhat entertaining at times, but they've botched the ending. They've taken the easy way out and missed some obvious opportunities. Furthermore, the epilogue is short, empty, and pointless. It's as if they included it just to fit in a kiss, since there wasn’t right for one in the final scene on the island.
