Deb studies meteorology at university and presents the weather on the local radio. Quentin works at a TV station with the task of getting the viewing figures in order. When their weatherman quits, he remembers Deb from the radio and calls her in to do the weather for tonight's broadcast. She does it so well that she is assigned to do it until the station manages get a new weatherman. She agrees to it because it can increase her chances of getting a scholarship to do further research.
The film is decent until the end where it's like they haven't really thought it through. It's like they threw in a scene or two just to end it.
