Peter is dumped by his celebrity girlfriend, Sarah Marshall. To break his depression, he goes on vacation to Hawaii only to discover that Sarah is in the same hotel with her new boyfriend. Receptionist Rachel steps in and supports Peter in the awkward situation.
A rather infantile film which can be funny in parts but is mostly quite pathetic.
