Bonnie opens an organic tea cafe with her best friend. In the same building, her father, who is a famous singer, has his studio and on the roof the café has a terrace where Bonnie also reads poetry that she writes herself. Ryder, who wants to become a singer but has problems recording his songs, arrives to the city. The melodies comes but he has difficulty with the lyrics. He seeks out Bonnie's father for advice. He hears Bonnie's poetry and is inspired to seek her help with the lyrics. In return, he promises to get the critic Branch to come to the cafe and review it.
