Jen works at a publishing house that publishes books by the reclusive and somewhat secretive Liz. However, Liz decides to become more public in order to stay relevant, which is why she agrees to travel to Scotland to receive an award. But at the last moment, Liz falls ill, and it is decided that Jen will go to accept the award on Liz’s behalf. On the journey to Scotland, Jen is mistaken for Liz, and a series of mishaps lands her as a guest at the estate of the poet James. She doesn’t dare to reveal her true identity and instead tries to play along, pretending to be Liz. However, the situation becomes increasingly difficult.
Even though this film is set in Scotland — which is a big plus in itself — it still only earns a three. There are too many flaws in the plot, and in terms of production, it doesn’t quite measure up.
