Widowed Julia is trying to get by with her two daughters, but the bills are piling up, and she can’t pay the loans to the bank. Brian, who works at the bank, is sent out just before Christmas to inform Julia that she is threatened with eviction. As he is about to leave, a snowstorm sets in, and his car gets stuck a bit away from Julias house. He is now forced to seek shelter with her and her children while the storm subsides, which takes longer than expected. He now gets to experience a different life than the hectic business world he usually lives in.
With so many years under its belt, I thought this movie would be pretty bad, but it turned out to be better than I expected. The story didn’t take any shortcuts, and the resolution isn’t miraculous, but it’s still ends well.
