Drew returns home to his parents' home, where he has taken a temporary job as a substitute teacher after the job he was planning to take fell through. His parents are planning changes to their apple orchard business and hire Lainie as a marketer. Lainie has just moved to town with her son, Aiden. Aiden is having some difficulties after the move, and when Drew gets him in his class, he takes it upon himself to help Aiden adjust to his new environment. This also means that Drew ends up spending quite a bit of time with Lainie. Suddenly, he receives a job offer that would require him to move again.
An average film that doesn't really stand out, neither good nor bad.
