Maggie is a writer for a soap opera and has a chance to become its producer. But the problem is that the series has lost viewership and the management is threatening to shut it down if the trend cannot be reversed. Now they want to get Darin back, who was the big star of the series before, and Maggie is tasked with recruiting him back. The problem is that Maggie used to date Darin and they didn't part on the best of terms.
