Evie was born on Christmas Eve under difficult circumstances in a diner. She was saved by the town council, who happened to be gathered there that night. Now an adult, her mother is a successful businesswoman in the beauty industry. However, her mother is concerned that Evie has grown up living an overly privileged life and assigns her the task of traveling to the small town where she was born to give back to those who once saved her. Reluctantly, she heads to the little town incognito and hires the town’s only lawyer, Kyle, to track down the people who saved her so she can fulfil their wishes before Christmas.
This film focuses on feel-good vibes with a romantic twist, without any complications. One might have some opinions about Evie's transformation, which perhaps isn't entirely clear, and the somewhat rosy portrayal of the benevolent privileged class, but it's something you can live with if you're looking for a romantic movie filled with good deeds.
