Blair, who left the home improvement TV show a year ago, struggles to keep her father's construction company afloat. She comes up with the idea of building micro-homes for the homeless to live in until they get their lives back on track and pitches the idea to the city council. She convinces them that she can build a model home before Christmas. However, when she and the council are about to announce this at a press conference, Mason, Blair's former boyfriend who is still a TV star, shows up. Suddenly, he gets involved in the project, and Blair is now forced to include him to save the project and her father's company.
Another movie with an ex. Why didn't it work the last time, and why would it work now? Nevertheless, it turns out to be a decent romantic movie anyway.
