Alice runs her father's old antique store in New York. She gets engaged to her boyfriend William and over Christmas they will go to Will's parents. However, Will is delayed by business and tells Alice to go ahead. A little uncomfortable going to Will's parents by herself, she sets off but is soon hit by missing luggage and a broken phone, a phone where she had the address of her future in-laws.
A somewhat unexpectedly good movie with some funny twists.
