Avery has an advice column in an online magazine. Before Valentine, she is persuaded to write about Valentine's Day, even though she doesn't like it after bad experiences. However, she receives a backlash from a reader whose girlfriend she advised to break up with him. At the same time, she meets her new vet (she has a dog) and cautiously starts dating him.
