Molly is working on getting her catering company up and running, which is not easy. But suddenly she gets her chance when the biggest event in New Hampshire suddenly needs a new catering supplier. The organizer of the event is Jean, a rich lady with many opinions about how things should be and Molly almost misses her chance but, Jean's nephew Carson, persuades her to hire Molly. Jean, wanting to hand over the foundation she runs to Carson, appoints him to oversee Molly's delivery.
