Superstar Bowyn is at the peak of her career as an artist, while Drew's career as a professional football player is also thriving. For his niece's birthday, Drew gifts her tickets to a Bowyn concert. After the show, they go backstage, meet Bowyn, and snap a few selfies. Encouraged by his teammates and niece, Drew posts an invitation to meet up with Bowyn on social media. To Drew's surprise, Bowyn responds with a yes, and they secretly arrange a meeting, as their celebrity status could otherwise spark a media frenzy. The date goes well, and they both want to see each other again, but what will happen to their budding romance if it all comes into the spotlight?
I didn't have high expectations for this film, but it was a pleasant surprise. It wasn't quite as superficial as I thought it would be (don't get me wrong, it's not a deep drama). As a romantic tale, it works well.
