Chloe works as a shop assistant but dreams of making it on Broadway. She goes from one audition to the next but always falls short due to some small detail. She bumps into Jason in town, and he shows up again at her workplace. He makes a living writing jingles and moonlighting as Santa Claus while also taking care of his daughter. They are now contacted by Cora, a local businesswoman, who wants to revive the local Christmas concert and needs their help. Chloe is hesitant since she wants to attend all the auditions, planning to give up and return home to Philadelphia after New Year’s if she doesn’t get a role.
It’s a good romantic movie that ends with a lot of feel-good, just as it should.
