When Abril hears that her cousin wants to sell the farm they co-own in Argentina, she travels there to try to keep it in the family. She hadn’t expected to run into her teenage love, Diego, but it turns out he’s back in town. Things get even more complicated when Abril realizes that he is the one who wants to buy the farm. He is just as determined to buy it as Abril is not to sell. While Abril searches for a way to keep the farm, an old unpaid loan surfaces, and suddenly both of them are at risk of losing everything to a real estate company that has acquired the debt. Now they must find a solution together.
The film holds up as a romantic movie, even if it doesn’t particularly stand out. As is often the case, they drag out the resolution for so long that it ends up feeling a bit abrupt (even though it is there).
