The event planner Lottie gets the opportunity to travel to Boston to secure the assignment of organizing a Christmas charity event for the wealthy Warby family. If she succeeds, it could mean being entrusted with managing her company’s new office in Boston. On the flight there, she unknowingly meets Tristan, the son of the Warby family. She manages to land the assignment, but it soon turns out that the valuable Nutcracker, which was to be auctioned at the event, has gone missing with Tristan's luggage during the flight. Tristan convinces her not to reveal this as they try to recover the precious Nutcracker.
The movie is of good quality, even though it doesn't exactly offer any surprises. It delivers an average romantic story in true Hallmark style.
