Before Christmas, Olivia learns that her job as a curator at the museum is at risk. Armed with this knowledge, she travels with her son to her parents' home for the holidays. There, they want her to participate in a competition to paint a mural in the town for the Christmas celebration. Olivia hesitates as she has been struggling with painter's block ever since her husband passed away. However, it turns out that her mother signed her up without her knowledge, and she ends up winning the competition. Now, she must decide whether she can take on the challenge or not. A bit inspired by the runner-up in the competition, the somewhat difficult Will, she decides to tackle the challenge.
A small town, Christmas, and romance. It's hard to fail, and they don't. It holds together like a romantic movie.
