Ella works for the food company Bistro Bon Vivant, but when she is overlooked for a promotion, she begins to question her life. She decides to go to Paris, where she was a long time ago and where she discovered her passion for good food, especially cheeses. She finds a nice place to stay and starts to explore Paris anew, focusing mainly on its cheeses. She soon gets to know the somewhat grumpy Serge, who runs a cheese shop. She will also soon be courted by the charming Gaston, who is acquainted with her landlady.
A good romantic movie that meets the standard and surprisingly is free from cheesy jokes. I'm not sure if I should take that as a positive or negative though. However, it feels a bit different since she has two very different guys interested in her for a large part of the film.
