Greta works at a gossip magazine. Now she is tasked with finding out about the gossip surrounding Senator Tannhill's sons, where there is a rumor that one of them will propose before Christmas. She faces competition from another journalist at the newspaper. A series of circumstances lead to her being taken into the care of Ben (the older son Tannenhill) as she wanders out into the countryside in search of news. She is taken into the Tannenhill family without them knowing who she is.
A good romantic film about skepticism of sensational journalism.
