Rebecca is skilled at coaching people toward improvement and achieving their goals. She becomes so well-known that she is invited for an interview on a morning TV show. The show is co-hosted by former football star Clive. He is highly skeptical of Rebecca's methods, and the interview goes poorly. However, Clive’s attitude puts him at risk of being dropped by the TV studio. His producer gives him an ultimatum: seek help from Rebecca or lose his job on the show. Rebecca is promised more television opportunities if she agrees to take on Clive. It turns out to be a tough challenge to confront Clive’s sceptical worldview.
You can say what you want about "life coaches," but as a romantic film, it delivers what it's supposed to according to a familiar formula.
