Daria and Sam work for the same TV programme — she as the presenter and he as the photographer. Just before Christmas, the show is cancelled and they both find themselves out of work. Sam, who moved to the city for the job, doesn’t want to relocate again, while Daria needs to figure out what to do next. When she visits her mother, she comes across the family’s collection of baking recipes and, to keep herself busy, she rekindles her old passion for baking by starting a vlog where she bakes every day leading up to Christmas. Sam steps in as the photographer, and they turn it into a charity fundraiser. The vlog soon proves to be very popular.
A romantic film themed around baking (sound familiar?). It doesn’t really stand out in any particular way, but it delivers exactly what you’d expect from an average romantic film.
