In Ellen's grandmother's estate, there is a letter that Ellen is tasked with personally delivering to a man in her grandmother's hometown in Maine. Ellen, who is currently considering a marriage proposal from her boyfriend, a politician she also works for, is persuaded to take time off to go to Maine and complete the task. Once there, she finds a small town and begins to unravel her grandmother's childhood, discovering unexpected things she didn't know about. In the town, there is also Roy, who soon turns out to have connections to the person who is supposed to receive the letter.
It’s a good romantic movie that perhaps could have been slightly better without the dialogues with the deceased grandmother, which don't add much which couldn't have been handled in a better way.
