Reporter Natalie in Los Angeles has bad luck with all her dates, but her writing about them is popular and the paper wants more. When her best friend expands the search area in her dating app, she connects with Josh, who lives on the East Coast. Their conversations get longer and longer and Natalie becomes convinced that Josh is the man for her. She decides to fly to Josh and surprise him. However, things are not quite as she thinks.
It takes a while to get into this movie, but it takes off after a while. The theme revolves around the fact that looks aren't everything and that you don't win love by pretending to be someone else.
