Charlotte is starting her new job as a writer. She will be working on a series of articles under the title "Mr. Right." Her colleague advises her to start dating guys via a dating app to gather material for her writing. She takes on the task while also trying to get to know the city she has recently moved to. Soon, she receives help from Liam, the barista at the local café, who is eager to help her settle into the city. She gathers plenty of material from her dates, but it's never Mr. Right—something that suits Charlotte, who has had a rough experience following her parents' divorce. But perhaps Mr. Right does exist after all.
This movie felt lightweight from the start, and Charlotte's slightly too polished style didn’t quite fit. But the longer I watched, the better the film got, and Liam's character balanced things out a bit. Sierra Reid’s acting could have been better, but by the time the movie ended, it had actually worked its way up to a rating of 5.
