June is an assistant at a large book publisher and works hard to become an editor. Suddenly her boss wants her to go home to her parents for Christmas. It turns out that the famous children's author Sally Wells, who has just finished her contract with her previous publisher, is spending Christmas there. Now June is assigned to go home and try to recruit Sally to their publishing house. If she succeeds, it could be a promotion. Back home, she meets her childhood friend Blake. When they challenge each other with wishes as usual, Blake wishes for June to have to agree to all the Christmas activities, something she doesn't have time for as she has to work. But suddenly she finds that she can't say no, against her will she accepts everything that is proposed to her…
