To escape from her negative mother, recently widowed Libby moves with her two children to her aunt. She runs a goat farm in the countryside in Texas. It's a significant adjustment for the family, especially since her aunt expects Libby to work on the farm. She learns from James, who is her aunt's farmhand. Libby struggles to the best of her ability while missing her previous life, especially her late husband. Slowly, things start to improve, but old stories from Libby's childhood resurface, including memories of her hopeless mother.
A very good movie where the romance may be more background than the main plot, although it certainly exists. Much of it revolves around Libby's liberation from her mother and rediscovery of her childhood. The film is definitely worth watching.
