Heather is under pressure to deliver her next book. In the middle of this, she learns that she has inherited her family’s farm in Montana. She decides to bring along her two best friends to see what exactly she has inherited. Perhaps she can find inspiration to start writing again — and perhaps she can sell the farm.
When they arrive, they discover that the property is in serious need of repairs. They get some help from the neighbour, Cliff, the town’s veterinarian who owns the adjacent farm. Heather and her friends receive a crash course in rural life, while Heather finally gets her writing going. And something begins to blossom between her and Cliff.
A sometimes tiresome story of city slickers making fools of themselves in the countryside. Still, it’s not completely worthless, and it does improve somewhat in the second half. It never gets better than a three, though.
