Jennifer is a successful author with several romantic books in her repertoire. Everyone wants to know who Conrad, the perfect man in her books, is based on but she doesn't want to answer. She goes home for Christmas to see her family including her sister who is dying of cancer. There she meets her boyfriend from high school (who is secretly Conrad).
