Katie is a businesswoman hoping for her next promotion. She works hard and hasn’t been home in a long time. Her mother, who was widowed earlier in the year, really wants her to come home for Christmas, but Katie is reluctant to return to her hometown. However, she eventually lets herself be persuaded. Back home, she tries to stay indoors with her mother, but her mom keeps sending her out on various errands—where she runs into her old boyfriend, Matt. All part of her mother’s plan, of course. Soon, Katie finds herself facing a choice between career and love.
A stale vomit pill. And on top of that, low production quality. The entire plot revolves around the idea that the woman should stay at home by the stove and not think she can succeed in her career. Matt is also a slimy character with no redeeming qualities.
