When her mother suffers a heart attack, Lexi goes home to be there. Back home, she realizes that her mother's dance studio is threatened with foreclosure and she gets involved in trying to save it. She also runs into Dean who she had a crush on at school. When a dance competition appears with a prize that might help save the school, Lexi signs up, but her dance partner is injured and she is forced to seek help from Dean.
Yet another film where they've read the manual but didn't understand that you also have to work with empathy, feeling and let go of too obvious stereotypes.
