Molly grew up on her parents' Christmas tree farm where she was also friends with Lucas, the son of the town's banker. Today, Molly works as a personal assistant to Walter, who runs a publishing house. Walter pushes her hard and she is expected to work over Christmas but when a Christmas tree appears that she recognizes from her parents' Christmas tree farm, she takes it as a sign that she should go home for Christmas. There it turns out that her parents are about to lose the farm to the bank where Luke now works.
An overly obvious and rather bad film. Could have been better with a more elaborate script. The whole romance feels more like something thrown in at the last minute as an afterthought.
