Vivian works hard as a TV producer and plans a country Christmas show which, among other things, means that she has to work with her ex. boyfriend, Gavin, who is the manager of the star who will do the opening number. In the middle of this, her former, now more dead, mentor, Marilyn, appears and introduces her to the ghost of Christmas Eves Past.
A Scrooge story that really lacks sharpness. Vivian does not immediately come across as some "humbug" slave driver.
