Emma sets off to scout out locations on behalf of her boss, a renowned travel book author. However, her car breaks down and she ends up in the town of Love while it’s being repaired. There, she meets Riley, who makes a terrible first impression. The town has won the award for the friendliest town in the state twenty years in a row, and now the mayor is determined to win again this year. Ryan is his son, and when he mistakes Emma for her boss—the travel writer—his father immediately wants him to show Emma around and persuade her to write about the town, giving them a chance to win once more.
A decent effort, but it has its flaws — in particular, the ending felt like it had gaps and came across as almost a bit odd.
