The architect Margo completes another successful project and secures a new deal. She excels at tearing down the old and creating the new. Suddenly, just before Christmas, she learns that she has inherited an estate from her unknown aunt in England. However, the conditions stipulate that she must travel there and live on the estate for an entire week before deciding what to do with it. Upon arrival, she meets the locals, including Alfie, the estate manager's son, who produces plum cider on the property. Meanwhile, Margo's firm expresses interest in developing the estate. Now, she finds herself caught in a conflict of interest.
At its core, it's a functional story, but on the one hand, Margo (Maria Menounos) feels almost a bit too much like a model for the role, and on the other hand, I had some issues with the clues left behind by the aunt. Both the fact that Margo actually finds them and that she manages to do so in the correct order felt a bit off. No, it doesn't quite work all the way through…
