Lauren has set her sights on getting a surgical internship in Boston, so sure that she hasn't applied for another internship. When her boyfriend breaks up with her and it turns out she won't get the internship, her plans are shattered. When she is desperately looking for an internship (very late), a position as a doctor suddenly appears in Garland, Alaska. With no other options, Lauren goes there.
In itself, a pretty sweet film, but still nothing to hang particularly high on the Christmas tree.
