Martin lives with his son and runs an animal sanctuary. One evening, they are interrupted by Robin and her daughter, who are seeking care for their chicken. Martin treats the chicken and keeps it under observation for a few days. Robin’s daughter wants to visit and see all the animals, and she and Martin’s son get along well. There is also a complicated attraction between Martin and Robin. Over the following period, they meet in various situations, but at the same time, Robin has to deal with her ex-husband, who suddenly wants to see his daughter.
Perhaps at its core a perfectly decent romantic film, but here it is brought down by poor sound mixing. The audio at times feels dubbed and recorded at different occasions. Even the music doesn’t work well. The acting performances are decent, but the direction could have been better. This is a typical example of how low production quality can bring down an otherwise fairly okay story.
