The company Gracie works for has purchased a plot of land to build a hotel in Happy Hollow. However, when she reviews the plans, she realises that there are five very small parcels of land in the middle of the site. The entire project is now at risk unless they can also secure these small land rights. She travels to the town to sort it all out. It turns out, however, that finding the owners of these parcels isn’t so straightforward. Soon, she has to enlist the help of the local historian, Jack, to track down the owners and convince them to relinquish their land rights.
The film is like most romantic stories. It doesn't really offer any unique angles, and the plot itself is a bit weak. One could also question the film's title; she's definitely not on holiday in Happy Hollow. But then there are at least two other titles it's been released under as well…
