Marie has a hard time around Christmas after a failed relationship a few years ago. This Christmas, her mother starts sending her memories in the form of Christmas tree ornaments from her childhood. These seem to have a magical effect on Maria's life. Things start to go well at work and she meets her charming new neighbour, Nate. But suddenly she is faced with editing a new book to be published by her ex-boyfriend. Will this overturn everything?
