At a dog competition Elisabeth meets Donovan who is a judge. She thinks he is handsome but snobby. When Elisabeth is treated unfairly and fired from her job as a teacher, she goes to New York to help her aunt show her dogs at various dog competitions. There she is again confronted by Donovan, who not only judges the competitions but also lives on the other side of the street. But can it develop into something more between the slightly rigid and luxurious Donovan and the more simple but honest Elisabeth?
The film is OK, but it doesn't really take off. You don't get any sense of romance between Donovan and Elisabeth and the ending doesn't feel convincing.
