Charlotte struggles to keep her parents' restaurant running and has no time for her true passion, painting. Wyatt, who works with illustrations, is visiting his brother when his brother discovers a half-finished painting that Charlotte discarded when she realized she wouldn't have time to finish it. He thinks it's too good not to be seen and enters it into the competition Charlotte had planned to participate in as 'artist unknown.' Charlotte discovers this and wants to take it down, which leads to her getting to know Wyatt a little more, and he makes her reconsider her life choices, also influencing him in the process.
The movie turns out well as a standard romantic film. Charlotte's struggle between duty and passion works, and the romantic ending unfolds as it should.
