Sabrina has been hired to ghostwrite a memoir for a wealthy art dealer, Grayson. While working on the book, she is given accommodation in a suite at the hotel where Grayson once worked as a young man. As she and Grayson go through what happened at the hotel all those years ago, Sabrina also meets Ian, who is the valet to Lord Braxton, who is visiting the United States incognito. Sabrina misunderstands the situation and believes Ian to be Lord Braxton himself. Meanwhile, Ian struggles to manage the real Lord Braxton’s romantic escapades. There is more than one secret that needs to be untangled before a happy and successful Christmas can unfold.
I think they’ve put together a fairly good romantic story — or rather, two parallel ones. It’s just complicated enough and has a nice, warm atmosphere.
