Molly has started a club for the mothers in town, where they raise money for charity. She also works at the local newspaper after becoming a widow and moving back home with her son. However, the newspaper is struggling to attract advertisers, and they bring in Ashley, who travels around as a consultant and problem-solver. He has his daughter with him as well. He becomes interested in Molly’s club, but since he isn’t a mother, she won’t let him join. So he starts a dads’ club instead and begins competing with Molly, who has her sights set on winning the prize for raising the most money for charity.
It ended up as a four in the end, even though the film has its weaknesses. Ashley can come across as a bit too insensitive in the way he goes after Molly.
