Christine is a Christmas elf at the North Pole and curious about life out in the world. Santa gives her a mission: to visit a family that is starting to lose their Christmas spirit. The parents are working so hard in their store during the holiday rush that they have no energy left for anything else related to Christmas, which has caused their daughter to give up on it as well. Only the son still believes in Christmas. Christine gets a job as the family’s nanny and does what she can to turn things around, with some support from the children’s uncle, who still holds on to the Christmas spirit. But can she manage it without getting too emotionally involved?
A romantic Christmas tale, and if you take it as just that, I think it delivers as it should and is at times a charming one.
