When Kate asks her strict boss for a promotion, the boss sends her to the small town of Kashmir to help the boss’s cousin, Thomas, market his boot-camp training business. It just so happens to be the town where Kate’s grandmother lives. Thomas turns out to have worked in the Coast Guard and has a straightforward, no-nonsense approach to almost everything. He has no online presence and doesn’t market his business at all. His only client is the owner of the town’s café. Kate sets out to break through Thomas’s tough exterior and get him to accept new ways of doing things.
A very average romantic film, but one that works well for what it is.
