Sophie is a successful travel writer who specializes in solo female travel to exotic destinations, especially during the Christmas season when she has a hard time with all things related to traditional holiday celebrations. This Christmas, she receives an assignment to travel to the Maldives. However, before that, she has to return home to assist her mother, who has injured her knee. There, her mother needs help planning the Christmas event that will benefit the local hospital. It's a challenging task for Sophie, who doesn't like Christmas. Furthermore, she's teamed up with Dr. Finn to organize the event, and Finn loves everything about the holiday season.
