Lizzie is to get married at Christmas, but all preparations are hampered by the fact that she cannot sleep at night. One night while driving around in a car, she happens to hit bartender Billy, who also suffers from insomnia. She drives him to the hospital but they both happen to fall asleep in the car in the parking lot outside. Lizzie wonders if it was Billy who made her sleep. They try one more time, and when it really seems like they're putting each other to sleep, Lizzie offers to lend money to Billie, who needs it to start his own bar, in exchange for him helping her sleep before the wedding. However, the closer the wedding gets, the more complicated it becomes.
A rather funny romantic film about insomnia with unexpected results.
