The author Amy is about to release her third book and is getting ready to start her book tour when she receives news that her grandfather has been injured. She returns to her hometown to visit him, which is not entirely uncomplicated as she left town to pursue a career as a writer instead of taking over her grandfather's business, 'Pumpkin Everything,' as he wanted. Back home, she reunites with her childhood friend Kit, who now works for her grandfather. They also have unresolved issues, but both realize that her grandfather can't continue with his business the way he always has.
A good romantic film that is equally much about the grandfather's struggle to adapt to a new reality.
